Casino Poker Guide: Rules and Strategies

Casino poker games pit you against the house rather than other players. This means bluffing and reading opponents are irrelevant—instead, you focus on making the best possible hand. Popular casino poker variants include Casino Hold'em, Three Card Poker, and Caribbean Stud.

Casino Hold'em follows Texas Hold'em rules but plays against the dealer. You receive two hole cards and share five community cards. You must decide to call or fold after seeing the flop. The dealer needs a pair of fours or better to qualify.

Three Card Poker is fast-paced: you and the dealer each receive three cards. You decide to play or fold after seeing your hand. The dealer needs a Queen or higher to qualify. There's also an optional Pair Plus side bet that pays based on your hand strength alone.

In Casino Hold'em, play any pair and most ace-high hands. In Three Card Poker, play Q-6-4 or better. In Caribbean Stud, always play a pair or higher and fold anything below ace-king. Avoid most side bets as they carry high house edges.
